From Coping to Thriving

From Coping to Thriving
Helping Your Daughter Move Beyond Survival Mode
Many teens are coping the best way they know how. Sometimes that looks like distraction, numbing, overworking, emotional shutdown, or risky behaviors. While coping can help a teen get through the moment, it doesn’t always help her move forward. This workshop helps parents understand the difference between coping and thriving and offers guidance on how to support their daughter in processing emotions rather than just surviving them.
Key Points:
-
The difference between coping and true emotional resilience
-
Common coping behaviors teens use to stay afloat
-
Why coping behaviors are signals, not character flaws
-
How parents can support emotional processing without panicking or fixing
-
What helps teens move from dog-paddling emotionally to learning how to swim
These workshops are usually only available to members of THE MOM WISE COLLECTIVE. As a gift to the moms in our community, you are all invited to join us for FREE.
